Please be aware that any topic discussing, or leading to the discussion of "God", religions, or a supreme creator not discussed on a philosophical level, will be automatically moved to the religion forum. Also, as I have noted in the Religion forum, courtesy will be number one. I have seen debates get ugly and as stated in the guidelines http://www.physicsforums.com/guidelines.html it specifically states that personal attacks are not allowed, insults and negative attitudes are no longer allowed. We have a lot of different perspectives and attitudes, and there will be courtesy or subject to the disciplinary actions. Philosophy tends to run in people's deep core beliefs, and everyone has a right to express them without feeling attacked and inhibited to post.

I highly suggest that all of you re-read the guidelines, because that is exactly how this forum will be run. Feel free to PM me as the Alert Mentor does not seem to work at this time for complaints.

for all you newer members...please use the search feature prior to posting your new topic...we have a lot of duplicate topics being started...should you start a duplicate topic, a link with the previous topic will be posted and most likely the duplicated topic locked...i have seen topics posted that are similar to others but the author of that topic makes it clear in the initial post of where she or he intends the conversation to go and i feel this works really well..
