It Was Very Great , But Where Have You Been Lilith ? Anyway , The Best Part Was The Chat Event , Even If I Was Writing With Half-Closed Eyes ... You Know Chatting At Time 5.00 Am I Think That More Chat Events Are Good For The Site , This Way, Poeple Knows Each Other Better , And They Have Fun ... If You Are Planing To Make Another chat Events In future , E-mail Me , And I'll Try Hard To Be There ...

I was unable to enter the chat either day. I would get the screen prompting you to enter your name but there was nowhere to enter this information and log in.  I wished more members had made movies. 30 - 40 movies would have been terrific. I enjoyed the photos and member info sections. What a good looking crew PF has, and I mean all of you! Conservative, n. This was my 2nd one, and I liked it a lot. *Pictures/Bios--great idea. I'll have to get in on that next time. *Short movies--very funny. Carla's take on me was particularly humorous. That brings me back to the first item: I absolutely must get a picture of myself in next time. *Chat Events--always fun. I was sober for these two, and it was still fun anyway. and, of course... *Member Polls--what it's all about. Everyone telling their favorite members how valuable they have been. All in all, a good thing. Tom

it was great (espicially the chat event) ...
unfortunatly there wasn't a lot of users but it were realy good...
i think greg can make chat event avaliable for ever its a good idea espicially in home work helpIF YOU BRING 100 MAN TO UNDERSTAND 1 WOMAN THEY CAN NOT DO !!

I had a good time, the chat events are always fun. I hope we can have more chat events, like perhaps scheduled events that don't have to be on special days. Maybe one or two per week/month, something like that. Also, just so you know boulderhead or anyone else that was having a problem logging on to the chat, you can use a program called mIRC to log on as well. Just download it, open it up, and type /server chat.planetz.net. Once your logged in, type /join #physics_forums. mIRC actually works faster than the java chat does."We in the back are all agreed that your theory is crazy. i don't believe that if we did have a permanent chat link that we would have less GOOD topics posted because with a good topic, you have many different members contributing at their own time, thus the beauty of a forum...i think the permanent chat link will keep those who just want that social contact without much of an idea or thought to contribute from posting silly topics that take up valuable PF space....i enjoyed Member's Day, as always... Well, it was quite cool.
I think that the best part is actually the chat, which is the thing that i couldn't come to.
It is hard to chat at 5:00 am you know  really hard.I don't agree the idea of a permanent chat. Since it will have no certain time i think it will be quite hard to find people to chat with (look at the 'online members', for me it is ALWAYS less than 8 members). On the other hand if we schedule a chat event like ... twice a week, it would be better (and maybe some days you could put the chat time at some other time than 8:00 PM CT, for the members in the east  ).
You've gotta be japaneese !

I Have Some Suggenstions :1- Think Of Some New Events In The Members Day , those Events Are Cool, But If There Was More It Would Be Perfect.
2- I Think Another God's Idea Is Good , And I Have Some Modifications On That . What About One Member Day Each Every Week , And Member's Week every Six Months. BUT The Events Of The Members Day Is Less Than The Members Week , To Make The Members Week More Special
3- If Pictures And Members Bio Can Be Send Anytime, whether There Is Members Day Or Not Is Good , But Watching Them Is Only Allowed In Members Day , To Give The Members Day A Special Event.
4- Choose More Suitable Tiem For Chat ... I Can't Stay Up Late again , And It's Not Fair To Miss The Members Day ...
5- The Members Pictures Page Has Too Many Pictures And Needs Too Much Time To Load , On A Dial Up Connection , You Need To Refresh The Page More Than 5 Times To Have The whole Pictures Appearing. If They Were Splited Into Several Pages, This Will Be Better. And For The Chat , I Updated The Version Of mIRC To Suit PF Needs, It Has Very Valuble Tools. Greg Has A Copy Of It , But Seems He Didn't Like It, Anyway, Using It , I Was The Only One Who Can Access The Site When Greg Closed It  .. The Program Has Direct Links quote:
